Covenants Inspections

Recently covenant inspections have started at Grassy Creek. These inspections will be done weekly. If you are not familiar with the Grassy Creek Covenants and Restrictions you can find them at: www.CMGCharleston.com and look for Grassy Creek under the HOA Website tab.

Some of the items that our enforcement department will be inspecting are:

· Lawns that are unkempt with tall grass and weeds in beds

· Dead trees, brush, tall underbrush and rubbish

· Adequate mulch/pine straw

· Excessive mold and mildew on homes

· Grassy Creek mailbox standards

· Homes that are in need of painting

· Boats, trailers, RV’s, campers in driveways and side yards

· Inoperative or abandoned vehicles

· Satellite Dishes and antennas that can be seen from the street

· Garbage containers that are visible from the street

· Clothes lines

· Open garage doors when not in use

· Owners parking cars in the street

· Christmas lights not removed by January 31……….

If you are found in violation you will receive a warning, and be given 14 days from the date of inspection to cure the violation. If not cured within this timeframe a fine will be assessed.

Also, as a reminder, if you are planning an exterior modification to your home, like painting, tree removal, installation of a fence, etc. you must submit an ARB Modification Request for approval prior to making the change.
